A charming home in a magnificent historical Seaside town
Negative: Parking was a bit cumbersome, but there were spots around the corner. The road itself that the house is on is very narrow and steep. But we learned to navigate it after the first time.

Lovely house in the heart of the Mumbles, but be warned!
Positive: Beautiful clean house and well appointed. The shower room is very lovely and unique. Its a short downhill walk into town.
Negative: Its a long walk back from town. Parking is awkward and visitors are advised to drop off luggage etc at the front door and seek parking as advised in the I instructions.
My bugbear is the unexpected 'insurance' charge for breakages that you are not informed of. This amounts to ÂŁ40.00 if you choose the cover all, which you loose should you incur a breakage charge or ÂŁ150.00 which you get back 5 days after you stay if you incur no breakages. Its not clear if they keep the lot or not. At Genius Level 3 Booking.com I have obviously never encountered this before, despite the landlord blurb implying that it is a legal requirement. Now I get it... I would be happy with it, if it was informed upfront and not after the booking has been made.

We had a lovely relaxing stay
Positive: no issues Karina provided instructions
We made use of the small table and chairs at the front of the house to sit out this weekend as it was very warm
Karina and Sam had thought of every thing you might need, including wash tabs and toiletries
The shower is powerful and lovey
Negative: The house is lovely but is smaller than anticipated it seemed a lot bigger in the photos
Also there is no real parking outside the property it is a narrow steep hill to get to the house and we could only stop to unload and then find parking further a field
differing check out time was a bit confusing

Positive: Excellent customer service. Comfy cottage within walking distance of sea front. Comfortable beds. Shower was great.
Negative: The house is on a narrow steep road so we parked a few mins away. Can be tricky with small children, luggage and dogs.

Positive: The house had everything we needed for a much too short stay in the area. Bedrooms were comfortable, clean and tidy. Kitchen was well equipped and we were thankful for the tray of tea, coffee, biscuits and milk after a late arrival. A good looking shower room with a very good shower too! The hosts were lovely and very accommodating. It was a good base for getting around the Gower which is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. Mumbles is a lovely little town crammed with cafĂŠs and restaurants, shops, a castle and a prom to walk, run or cycle along the front. Nowhere is too far a walk. It is hilly and parking is challenging sometimes but well worth the effort. Thank you :)
Negative: There was nothing we didn't like.
